Guardian Deities Painting of Beopseongsa Temple, Changwon
Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr · no licence stated

This guardian deities painting, enshrined on the altar to the right of the main hall (Daeungjeon Hall) of Beopseongsa Temple in Masan, takes the form of a framed work made of two panels of silk mounted together. The painting depicts six guardian deities (sinjung), with the Bodhisattva Dongjin as the principal figure. Aside from some fading of the original colours and slight flaking caused by the passage of time, together with numerous splashes of candle wax scattered across the painting, its state of preservation is generally good.
