This is a Buddhist sculpture cast in bronze in the late Goryeo period, and it is the first such example to have been surveyed in the Gyeongnam region. Although its crown has been lost, it is a valuable artefact that preserves the compassionate, smiling face typical of the late Goryeo period and ornate yeongnak (beaded pendant) decoration. The seated bodhisattva measures 74 cm in overall height, 21 cm in head height, 28 cm in facial (brow) width, 20 cm in waist width, 53 cm in knee width and 13 cm in knee height.
