Nagyeongjae Hall, Geochang

Nagyeongjae Hall was built using timber relocated from an old dongheon, the main hall of a local government office, and since most of its structural members came from that dongheon, its assembly method followed the dongheon style as well. It provides valuable material for comparing, with other regions, the structural members and framing techniques used in dongheon buildings of the late Joseon period, and as it is also well preserved, it carries considerable academic value.
