Built in 1956, this building was constructed as a warehouse for moving and storing supplies needed by the Korea National Railroad. When first built it was known as the "Daejeon Branch of the Procurement Headquarters," before being renamed the "Supply Storehouse of the Finance Division, Daejeon Regional Office, Korea National Railroad," the name under which it continues to be used. Its wooden truss roof structure does away with the need for columns in the middle of the interior, increasing the usability of the space, and its exterior finish of wooden planks gives it excellent ventilation.
