Jinhae Station is a single-storey building with a floor area of 248.4 m². It served as the station building on the Jinhae Line and was built in November 1926. It has a timber frame with cement-sprayed walls, and a gabled roof with pediments fitted at the front and rear; the roofing is finished in asphalt shingle. The windows are aluminium-framed, changed for convenience during repairs carried out by the Korea Railroad Corporation on 30 December 2002, before the building's registration as heritage. The station building is still used as an unstaffed halt by the Korea Railroad Corporation.
