Former Pungyang Financial Association, Goheung

Built in 1933, this building was constructed as the Pungyang branch of a financial cooperative (geumyung johap). It carried out active business in Pungyang-myeon and Dohwa-myeon within Goheung County, and its structure remains sturdy enough to still serve its function today; although it stands on a coastline directly exposed to sea winds, it has been well preserved over a long period.
