Former Inspection Depot of Cheongnyangni Station, Seoul
KOGL Type 4Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

Built in 1938, this building served as a depot where locomotives were repaired and stored after passing through the turntable at Cheongnyangni Station. It originally comprised a total of 27 bays arranged radially in a semicircle, but the turntable that rotated the rolling stock and most of the bays were later demolished, leaving only three bays today. It is the only example in Korea's railway architectural history of a locomotive maintenance facility of this kind, and holds value both for the history of modernisation and for railway history.
