Gudun Station is a single-building, single-storey structure with a floor area of 95.2 ㎡, with railway track extending 150 m on each side. It is believed to have been built in the 1940s as a station on the Jungang Line, and began operating as an ordinary station on 1 April 1940. It is of timber construction, with walls finished in timber frame and cement mortar. The plan is a straight, one-line ('一'-shaped) layout, and the roof is a gabled roof set above the waiting room, now finished in shingles. The internal layout is arranged, from the right, in the order of waiting room, office and night-duty room. It is owned by the Korea Railroad Corporation; as a minor halt, it was closed when the line was double-tracked.
