Yulchon Station, a single-storey building with a floor area of 93.1 m² and a railway track extending 150 m to the left and right, has been designated a National Registered Heritage. Built as the station house on the Jeolla Line, it was completed on 25 December 1930, during the Japanese colonial period, at the same time as the South Joseon Railway Company began operations. It was closed in 2010 when the line was rerouted between Sinpung and Seongsan. The roof is hipped, higher over the waiting room and lower over the station offices. It is a heritage item that preserves the form of an early-1930s station building.
