Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis building was originally built as an inn, but is currently used as a restaurant. The first floor has a kitchen and rooms, with a narrow wooden porch, called a jjokmaru, in front of the rooms. On the second floor, corridors run along the front and rear, with two staircases connecting to the first floor; the space between the corridors is divided into front and rear sections in the form of a gyeopjip, a double-depth house with two rows of rooms, containing eight rooms in all. Although part of the first floor has been altered, the timber clapboard walls, the wooden frame and the interior spaces retain their original form well.
