This facility was built to supply water from the Seongjigok Reservoir to individual households. The reservoir complex consists of three buildings in all: the two water-storage buildings at the front left were built in 1910, and the one on the right was added in 1922. The walls of the 1910 filtration building are of red brick, with the upper section finished in stone, and above its entrance, which has an arched stone door frame, there remains a plaque reading "Yojimujin" (瑤池無盡), meaning "may it never run dry, like the water of a fairyland spring."
