Former Building of Namseon Electrics, Busan
KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

This building was used as the headquarters of Namseon Electrics, the predecessor of the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO). In the 1970s it served as KEPCO's Busan branch, and following KEPCO's organisational restructuring it is now used as its Jungbusan Branch. The first floor is finished in granite, with square pilasters emphasising the entrance, while the second floor and above are finished in tile, and a horizontal moulded band runs below the upper eaves line. It has historical significance as the first building in Busan to have an elevator installed, and with its interior structure preserved intact, it offers a fine example of a modern Korean office building.
