Hagosari Station is a single-storey building with a floor area of 36 square metres. Built in 1966 as a station on the Yeongdong Line, it opened for business as an unstaffed halt (ganiyeok) on 1 September 1967, built voluntarily by the villagers themselves. It has a timber structure with a gable roof and walls finished in vinyl panelling. The interior of the waiting room has a gomi-banja ceiling, a traditional coffered ceiling with exposed beams, which sets it apart from other unstaffed halts; together with Paldang Station, it is one of the smallest among the registered halts. The station is currently out of service.
