Former Chungbuk Industrial Promotion Center, Cheongju

Built in 1936, this building has been used as a promotion and exhibition space for merchants and manufacturers from across the province. Reflecting the characteristics of a site bordered by roads on two sides, the corner wall was rounded off to accommodate the main entrance. Above the main entrance a canopy projecting about one metre was installed, and on the second floor, unlike the other window openings, a long horizontal window projects outward to emphasise the façade.
