Former Gongju-eup Office

This building was constructed as the headquarters of the South Chungcheong Financial Cooperative Federation, and was subsequently used as the Gongju-eup Office (1934–1985) and Gongju City Hall (1986–1989). It is a two-storey red-brick building with a projecting entrance porch; the central front section has four round columns decorated with an entablature that emphasises the building's frontal symmetry, giving the whole an overall balance of left-right symmetry.
