The Former Suwon Culture Hall is a two-storey brick building constructed as the head office of the Joseon Jungang Mujin Company, a financial firm, and after liberation it was used for many years as the Suwon Culture Hall building. It is a two-storey brick structure with a plan that is nearly square, its window and door mouldings projecting beyond the brick walls to create a three-dimensional effect, and its front openings decorated with flower-bud motifs that emphasise the façade. Though modest in scale, it is a valuable building, rich in decorative elements and executed with excellent construction technique.
