Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krJeongam Railroad Bridge was completed in 1935 as a steel truss bridge, but was destroyed during the Korean War. In 1958 it was rebuilt, retaining the two surviving spans with their steel truss superstructure intact, while the section that had been completely destroyed was rebuilt on new piers as a reinforced-concrete T-beam structure of seven spans. As a bridge connecting Uiryeong-gun and Haman-gun in South Gyeongsang Province, it is valuable for the important role it has played in the transport network of the western part of the province.
